Models of Yesteryear was the British toy company responsible for creating Matchbox toys. Lesney began producing these miniature die-cast vehicles in the early 1950’s. The first line of Matchbox cars was introduced in 1953.
This model is in near perfect condition. The paint is crisp and clear, no scratches or broken parts. Rolls easily, tires are in good condition. The gold on the tire rims, does not have any color rubbed off. Comes with original box. The box is aged and somewhat loose fitting. It has some edging and crease wear, along with a couple of small tears and tape has torn off some color off of one end, as well as a black line across one side of the box.
